Account linking allows you to connect your Dapper account with external wallets to do more with your NFTs and enable an enhanced collector experience along the way. It also allows you to exercise self-custody of your Dapper NFTs using a non-custodial wallet of your choice. This opens up a world of opportunity for more control, a simplified user experience and, once linked, your assets can be used in new and composable ways. Linking Your Account To link your account, you will first need to sign in to your Dapper Wallet. From there, select the Account Linking tab on the left-hand sidebar. Selecting Link a New Wallet will allow you to connect to a wallet of your choice from the list available where you can follow the access and approve prompts to complete the link. At this time, we only support the Flow Wallet, Blocto, and NuFi. During the prompts, you will also be able to select the collections you'd like to link with your wallet. You can change which collections you'd like to link with your external wallet at a later time as well. Once your wallet account has been successfully linked you will be able to see it listed under the Linked Accounts section where you can use it immediately. Unlinking Your Account To unlink your account, simply click the Disconnect button within the Dapper Wallet in the Linked Accounts tab on the left-hand sidebar and your account will be unlinked. If you have more than one account connected, you will need to unlink each account. FAQ What can I do by linking an account? By linking an account you can utilize your NFTs in new ways, see them in new dApps, combine them with other functionalities and more. Account linking also provides an enhanced user experience by simplifying the steps needed for you or another dApp to use your NFT. How many accounts can you link to your parent account? Currently, there is no limit to the number of accounts that can be linked. What are some security considerations I need to make when linking an account? Make sure you trust the wallet you are linking to, as Dapper will no longer be able to guarantee the security of your assets. When using a non-custodial option, you have the responsibility of securing your assets. Keep your linked account seed phrase safe and do not share it with anybody.
