Understanding "This transaction was blocked to safeguard your account" Error

In some cases, you may see an error such as:

“This purchase could not be submitted. This transaction was blocked to safeguard your account. Please contact our support team for assistance.”

This means your transaction was temporarily halted as part of our security measures to help protect your account and our ecosystem.

In most cases, this type of block is temporary and clears within 24–48 hours. We recommend waiting a day or two and then trying your transaction again. If you're still seeing the error after that time, please contact our Support Team so we can help take a closer look.

To help avoid this issue in the future, we recommend using your Dapper Balance for purchases. You can deposit funds once using your card, then use your balance for multiple transactions. This can reduce the number of card authorizations and help create a smoother experience.
